February Job Postings

The East Asian Languages & Cultures Department at Wellesley College is
looking for a semester-long part-time Visiting Lecturer in Japanese
Language, to begin Fall 2022.  This position is for the Fall semester
with possible renewal, contingent on performance, department need, and
availability of program funding.
 
The Visiting Lecturer would be teaching a section of Beginning
Japanese 101 which runs everyday except for Wednesdays, and the
lecturer will be teaching 3 days a week. JPN 101 will cover Genki  3rd
Edition Chapters 1 – 6.
 
The successful candidate should have native or near-native fluency in
Japanese and English and will have demonstrated experience in teaching
Japanese language courses, preferably, at the college level. The
candidate must be authorized to work in the USA without the need for
sponsorship. Familiarity with Genki textbooks is desirable.
